ON A PERSONAL NOTE:

I’m a plain girl struggling to pursue BIG dreams, charting my adventures in hopes that others may become encouraged to pursue their own adventures too.  I was born in the Philippines and moved to the U.S. when I was 7.  Through dancing, I’ve had blessed opportunities to travel across borders and meet many amazing people whose language I don’t understand.  Still, thanks to God, I am able to communicate with people through our love  for dance which unifies us.  With every culture I’ve come across and every person I’ve met, I’ve learned something new at every experience.  I’m a simple girl who loves music, hates bad things, and lives through laughter.  I can survive on very few things.  “‘His grace is sufficient for me.”  I believe in Jesus.  I believe that I own absolutely nothing in this life, and that all I’m given are gifts and blessings from the Lord, so I try to use what I have effectively and for the right reasons.  I love life.  ”Life is short,” so pursue your dreams and step through doors you’re afraid of while you can.  Learn what you can, wherever you can.  Love others and let others love you.  Focus on the upside.  Spread faith, hope, and love, as the Lord taught us.  Life’s too short to be wasted.  I’d rather use my energy for something better.

Reason for blogging:  Im forgetful.  I have the worst memory.  I’ve kept a journal since I was seven, and it amazes me to go back to entries written years ago.  It’s like looking at another person sometimes.  A lot of people forget where they came from.  What they’ve gone through.  It’s a humbling experience to relive past struggles… past failures.  There’s a lesson to be learned in each day of our lives.  I appreciate simple things like that.. stopping to smell the roses when all of us, yes including me, become caught up with the chaos of life that we can’t sit down and reflect on ourselves.
